Portsmouth celebrates 100 Years as a city in 2026.

Our "terraced" houses are a special part of our local identity.
Let’s celebrate the city’s characteristic buildings - its terraced houses!
Post a photo of your favourite houses on the Portsmouth Society website as a record of how the city looks in its 100th year as a city.
If you do not live in a terraced house then why not send in a picture of your favourite terraced house(s) in Portsmouth...
To add your pictures, email them with the subject Portsmouth 100 LYS and include the street name to :- mailbox@portsmouthsociety.org.uk
This is so we have a record of what the city looks like now in 2026 for future years!

By March 17th 2026, we had received 25 such images of terraced houses in the city of Portsmouth.
By April 3rd, we had received around 90 images...
Below is a preview of those in a movie, we will aim to add some suitable music once we have completed the project.
